INNISFREE

Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum
Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask
Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream

Innisfree is a very popular and well known Korean skincare/beauty brand that thrives on using natural ingredients from the pristine island of Jeju.  I've been trying out some of their products for several months and I'm blown away! These three products are now my everyday essentials and I will continue to repurchase.

Starting off, the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum is a moisturizing serum with the organic Jeju green tea water and green tea seeds.  This serum is lightweight, has a cooling effect, nourishes, deeply hydrates, and makes your skin smooth and radiant.  It's a perfect serum for the summertime and I cannot stop using this.  This is a must try!

The Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask contains super volcanic cluster capsules which absorbs sebum to help with any pore concerns.  This mask helps with tightening pores, removes sebum, and exfoliates.  It is a very heavy duty clay mask you leave on for 10 minutes, then gently wash off.  Your skin feels amazingly soft and clean.

The Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream has been my go-to eye cream for months now.  It's an anti-aging cream with antioxidants from the Jeju orchid which brings vitality and nutrients we need for the sensitive skin around our eye area.  This cream is not irritating and has a good consistency, not too thin and watery or too thick.   Overall the Innisfree products have wow'd me in their overall formulation and performance and their price point is so affordable.  I'm excited to try more of their products in the future.

LITTLE THINGS

Target Stationery: Weekly To Do List Pad, To Do List, Notes, Sticky Note Pad
Glitter Ball Pen, Ball Pens Text, Ball Pens Floral
Essie Nailpolish too too hot (red), french affair (pink)

Here are some "little things" I purchased from the $1 section at Target the other day.  Thought I should quickly put up this blog post in case you guys wanted to purchase some of these adorable stationery.  I absolutely love the color scheme and design of these note pads and pens.  They are feminine, earthy and pretty to look at on top of your desk.  Except for the glitter pen, the other pens come in 2 packs for only $1.  I've purchased the "floral" pens in the past and they are still one of my favorite pens to write with.  The rose gold also gives it a nice feminine touch.

The Essie nailpolishes ($8.99) are not new shades, but are a couple of my go tos every summer.  Essie's "too too hot" is the perfect red/coral shade and "french affair" is the perfect baby pink color without looking too washed out.  I'm constantly applying these two shades.  You should definitely give them a try!

If you're looking for a new sleeping mask that gently exfoliates and brightens your skin, you should give the Glow Recipe's Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask a try.  It's a luxurious, bouncy gel-like texture that refreshes, hydrates, and smooths out your skin overnight.  Not to mention how wonderful it smells!

I've been using this next product everyday and it's the Vital Treatment Essence by Blithe.  This anti-aging essence is formulated with eight nourishing beans that work to target fine lines/wrinkles, dryness and dullness.  It has a bouncy, cushion-like texture and it leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and smooth for the next steps in skincare.  I use this morning and night.

Looking for a new toner?  The Whamisa Organic Flowers Toner is all natural, cruelty free with no harmful fragrances or chemicals.  This toner also has a unique bouncy and cushion-like texture and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and dewy.  This toner is for all skin types and is a Korean skincare favorite!

MOROCCANOIL

Moroccanoil Treatment
Moroccanoil Shampoo
Moroccanoil Conditioner
Moroccanoil Dry Body Oil

Summer is here which means a lot of travel, sun and pool.  One way to protect your hair from too much damage is to use argan and coconut oils to hydrate and lock in moisture.  I've used Moroccanoil for quite some time and it's simply amazing.  I love how all the products are infused with antioxidant-rich argan oil, which makes your hair healthy and sleek.  The scent is clean and fresh, which is also great for summer.  If you've never used Moroccanoil products, but want to try it out, use the link above to purchase the Moisture & Shine travel kit.  It includes the three items above...treatment, shampoo and conditioner.  It's a great way to test these products without paying for the full size options.  I use the treatment, after I've shampooed and conditioned my hair, on damp hair and let it air/blow dry.  These products leave your hair feeling smooth, shiny and healthy.

I never thought I would like using oils to moisturize my body, but then I discovered the Moroccanoil Dry Body Oil.  It absorbs quickly and moisturizes your body without feeling greasy.  I also love the subtle scent it leaves on your skin.  Definitely worth trying.

GLOW RECIPE

Leejiham Vita Propolis Serum
J.One Jelly Pack
Huxley Oil Essence
J.One Hana Cream

Glow Recipe is a site created for skincare lovers who love natural, harsh-free beauty products and the latest skincare trends straight from Korea.  Having tested these products for a few months now, I can give you a little review about each of them.

First off we have the Leejiham Vita Propolis Serum.  This serum is created with 50% propolis extract and 20% multivitamins, so not only is this good for your skin but perfect for creating that "glow" or "gwang" (dewy glow in Korean).  The texture of this serum feels really great (not sticky or too runny), and you will see an instant glow once you tap it into the skin.  It feels very lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin.  Definitely give this one a try.

The J.One Jelly Pack is definitely a one-of-a-kind product.  It's known as the "multi-tasker" or "makeup gripper" and here is why.  After cleansing your face, take a pump of this unique textured jelly and tap it all over your face.  It'll hydrate, firm and prime your face (all in one) for the next step which can be a sunscreen or BB cream, whatever your preference may be.  Honestly I wasn't impressed with it at first mainly due to the sticky texture of the jelly.  However because of its rave reviews, I knew I had to give it another try.  I think the key is tap tap tapping it into the skin until the stickiness subsides and you have a smooth canvas.  I have noticed my makeup staying on longer and seeing less oil especially on my T-zone area.  Definitely a unique product to try.

The next product is also another unique product because it's an oil and essence all in one.  The Huxley Oil Essence is a game changer in my book.  Whether we're in the colder months or the summer season, I always want my skin to feel hydrated, really dislike the dry feeling on my skin.  So this product is perfect since you get a very lightweight oil and essence in one step.  It seeps into your skin wonderfully, texture is amazing and the scent is heavenly.  The only issue that I have with this product would be the dropper not performing well as I think it should.  I have to kind of work with it to pick up and dispense the product, so I'm hoping Huxley can somehow fix that problem in the future.  Overall I love this oil-essence so much that I know I'll be repurchasing this in the future!

The J.One Hana Cream is a nourishing, anti-aging cream that comes in capsules (little round balls). It includes a little spatula for you to scoop out one capsule and "Hana" in korean means one.  One capsule is all you need.  You crush the ball into the palms of your hands or sometimes I crush it with my fingertips then spread onto your skin.  It's a little heavy for me for daytime use but it's perfect as a night cream in my opinion.  It's a fun product to try!

Sephora now carries some of the Glow Recipe products so that is something to check out as well!

FUN TRAVEL MAKEUP

Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow to Go Highlight & Contour Palette
Tarte Tarteist Pro to Go Amazonian Clay Palette
Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss (330, 316)
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter (Opal)
Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll Kiss & Blush (08)

Summer is here and vacations are about to begin.  I recently purchased a few makeup products that seem great for travel and fun to try out!

Tarte's Tarteist Pro To Go palettes are perfect for travel.  They are compact and the packaging is very travel friendly.  The highlight & contour palette includes two highlight shades and a matte contour/bronzer (gleam, burst, chisel).  They are easy to blend and very pigmented so a light hand is needed if you want a softer glow.   The Amazonian Clay eyeshadow Palette has quickly become a favorite.  It's pigmented and the colors are beautiful.  It includes three matte and three metallic shades that are all wearable.

The Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine lipgloss are one of my all time favorites.  It comes in a variety of colors and delivers a beautiful shine to the lips.  It's comfortable to wear and is not sticky.  The shades are perfect for summer!

I love using the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in the summer.  It adds such a luminous, dewy and natural glow to the skin.  I apply using my fingers to highlight my face or blend it in with a foundation to give your skin an all over glow.  A little goes a long way so this travel size is perfect to try out and for travel.

I've been reaching for my YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush a lot.  I love how I can use it on my cheeks and lips, which makes it fast and easy.  I dab it directly to my cheeks and blend using my fingers or use a damp beauty blender.  The whipped consistency makes it easy to blend and gives a nice natural flush of color to your cheeks and lips.  Great for summer!

CURRENT MAKEUP FAVORITES

Troiareuke A+ Cushion
NARS Banc De Sable Highlighter Palette
Tom Ford Sheer Highlighting Duo
Guerlain Meteorites Illuminating Powder

Here are some of my favorite makeup products at the moment.  First off, I want to introduce a cushion foundation I've been reaching for a lot lately...the Troiareuke A+ Cushion.  This cushion foundation is the perfect solution for acne, sensitive, and combination skin type (gives oil control on the T-zone area).  Although I don't experience all these issues, it's nice knowing it can help in these areas if needed.  This foundation is made up of ingredients that help to heal the skin, 99% skincare and 1% makeup.  Plus I love the way this feels on my skin.  It gives great coverage, it's lightweight, and very easy to apply.  Its functions include brightening effect, anti-wrinkle effect, and UV Protection SPF 50+! It only comes in one shade, Natural Beige No. 23, however it covers many skin tones.  This is probably a shade too light for me, but I use a bronzer to match the shade for my face.  I think this is a great choice for cushion foundations if you're on the hunt for one.

The NARS trio pan highlighter palette is universally flattering to illuminate and create a supernatural glow to your cheeks or eyes.  I've been using this highlighter to bring a light sheer shimmer to my cheeks or have been layering it for an intense glow.  It's beautiful!

Tom Ford's Sheer Highlighting Duo is another highlighter I've been obsessed with lately. This duo pan consists of shimmering rose and yellow gold hues that are inspired by the sunrise and the sunset.  You can wear these shades alone or mix them up together, which is what I like to do, and it creates the most beautiful bronzed, glowy look to your face.

The Guerlain Meteorites Illuminating Powder is made up of light diffusing pearls that minimize flaws and adds brightness to the skin.  It gives your skin a luminous effect with the slightest shimmer.  Great all over face powder!
